7. Fearlessness

  1. This world is the great gymnasium where we come to make ourselves strong.

  2. This is the one prayer, to remember our true nature, the God who is always within us, thinking of it always as infinite, almighty, ever - good, ever - beneficent, selfless, bereft of all limitations. And because that nature is selfless, it is strong and fearless; for only to selfishness comes fear.

  3. The earth is enjoyed by heroes - this is the unfailing truth. Be a hero. Always say, ' I have no fear'. Tell this to everybody - 'Have no fear'. Fear is death, fear is sin, fear is hell, fear is unrighteousness, fear is wrong life. All the negative thoughts and ideas that are in this world have proceeded from this evil spirit of fear.

  4. Be not afraid of anything. you will do marvellous work. The moment you fear, you are nobody. It is fear that is the great cause of misery in the world. It is fear that is the greatest of all superstitions. It is fear that is the cause of our woes, and it is fearlessness that brings heaven even in a moment. Therefore, 'Arise, awake, and stop not till the goal is reached.'

  5. In this world of embodied existence, you will be tossed again and again on the waves of happiness and misery, prosperity and adversity - but know them all to be of momentary duration. Never care for them.
