Education for Character

Swami Vivekananda said "Education is not the amount of information that is put into your brain and runs riot there, undigested, all your life. We must have life-building, man-making, character-making assimilation of ideas. if you have assimilated five ideals and made them your life and character, you have more education than any man who has got by heart the whole library." 

To impart his character-building education an inspiring booklet "Education for Character" is given to all the students at the time of admission. It contains inspiring sayings of Swami Vivekananda and universal prayers. Prayer is held daily, both in the morning and evening, before the commencement of classes. Students must bring the prayer book (Education for Character) when the come to attend the class and must compulsorily attend the prayer.
