Prospectus

The Institute teaches Spoken English at five levels:

1. Basic
2. Junior
3. Senior
4. Communicative English 1
5. Communicative English 2.

The duration of each level is for three months.

The Spoken English course is designed to help the students in learning English language giving more emphasis to speaking skills. New students may choose Basic or Junior levels at the time of admission. Students from Regional medium must take admission in BASIC level. Students from English medium must take admission in JUNIOR level only. Emphasis is placed on the development of the Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing skills along with a knowledge of grammar. Enthusiastic participation in classroom activities is an indispensable part of the learning process. The textbook supplied by the Institute is designed for that purpose. 40% of the final evaluation is based on the student’s performance in the classroom activities.
