Objectives
  • At this level, the student has a good taste of French.
  • The student can start communicating in present, past and future.
  • One can confidently appear for DELF-A1 and can look forward to writing DELF-A2.
Syllabus
  1. The pronouns-Direct object(COD)and Indirect object(COI).
  2. The adjectives-Possessive/Demonstrative.
  3. Comparatives and Superlatives.
  4. The tenses:Present/Past/Future like Futur Proche/Futur Simple/Passé Récent/Passé composé/Imparfait/Présent Continu(Progressif)/Présent.
  5. The adjective-Tout
  6. The various expressions for cause or reason/purpose/hypothesis/condition.
  7. The placement of adjectives and adverbs/question words/impersonal forms/present conditional and other topics like la forme restrictive<<ne…que>>.
  8. How to make negative sentences with different words like never, nothing, nobody etc. (ne…pas/plus/jamais/rien/personne).
  9. The imparfait versus the Passé Composé.
